Since 2004, I have been collaborating with the Bioindustry Park of Canavese
and with Aethia S.r.l.
on the development and use of mathametical models, simulation codes and software tools
for studying processes and systems involved in tumor growth using High Performance Computing
facilities (Beowulf-like cluster of GNU/Linux PCs).

I have contributed to the organization of a mini-workshop entitled
The Role of Mathematical Models and Numerical Simulations in the Era
of Systems Biology. Scientific Research and opportunities for the industrial world,
held at the Bioindustry Park of Canavese
on February 28th 2006, within the framework of the initiatives of the
DIADI Project of Piemonte Region.
